Lots of snow here in Boston. It’s very pretty, but cold!! In my post-Christmas analysis I must say that my favorite gift was quite simple. A pair of the softest, cushiest flannel PJs going. I curled up on my couch and read all day on Christmas and it was perfect. So I washed them, and wore them again yesterday. Only problem? I need a new book to read!!!

I am book-less. And jonesing for a good read. Was considering ordering Will Grayson, Will Grayson on the Kindle because I love John Green and David Levitahn. But I’m not sure. Not having a book to read really sucks. What sucks even more is that every new book seems like it’s either some paranormal/fantasy story or dystopian – and I don’t enjoy reading either!!! Help!!

So, until I find a new book to dive into, I’ve been working away on my next book. And I’ve been typing thousands of words a day, which is so nice! I’m thinking this weather is actually better for my writing than anything else, especially since my next book takes place exactly at this time of year. So when I need inspiration I just look outside.

Still, when I’m done writing for the day I’d love a good book to read that isn’t my own.
